We have loved creating musical conversations with little people

The Babigloo Team

The Babigloo Team are very experienced artists and practitioners in the field of Arts, Theatre, Community Work and Early Years (including working with parents).

There is Jenny, Colin and Michele. We've all got Enhanced DBS certificates and Public Liability Insurance.

We are always keen for parents who play musical instruments to take part in Babigloo sessions.

Leo's Mum played a piece from a Mozart Clarinet Quintet and he loved seeing his Mum perform.

Another Mum went up in the loft and dusted off her Banjo! Yee-ha!

Another Mum who was very anxious even started volunteering at a Children's Centre!

Jenny Gordon

Jenny Gordon instigated and developed Babigloo with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra in 2014 in response to the need for better quality music sessions for mothers and babies.

Jenny also wanted to create something that was therapeutic for new mothers suffering from anxiety and post natal depression who were finding it difficult to attend other baby classes.

Jenny works as a producer and festival director within Dorset, working across art forms in theatre, dance, music, inclusive practice and outdoor events. She has been delivering projects for early years and young people within Dorset for over 15 years.

In 2014 Jenny managed "The Big Bounce" an innovative early years project in Poole, exploring creative play with circus and live music partnered by Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. Jenny loves to sing, blow out a tune on the tin whistle and the melodica.
